Auckland Rainbow Trampers are based in Auckland, New Zealand. We are a tramping/hiking group and are explicitly inclusive of all genders and sexual orientations.

This group is open to all who are LGBTQIA friendly. Please feel free to join us by simply turning up to one of our tramps or by emailing auckland.gtg@gmail.com for more information.

You can also go on our mailing list by. You will receive one or two emails per month reminding you of upcoming events. We do not share your email address with any third parties. From time to time we send out emails for related events.

Unless otherwise mentioned the city meeting point is always the Mt Eden car park which is at the corner of Mt Eden Rd, New North Rd and Symonds St. This car park is free on Sundays.

THINGS TO BRING

*On all trips you will need to bring your own food and drink.

*On some trips we will have time for a swim. Bring togs and a towel.

*Bring a small daypack or something similar to carry your gear in.

*Bring something in case it rains.

*Wear appropriate footwear, such as boots or sandshoes that you donʼt mind getting wet and dirty.

*Possibly bring a change of clothes if there is a chance of getting dirty and wet especially in winter.

If you are carpooling it is appropriate to pay the driver a small amount (eg $5.00) to cover costs.
