Christchurch Heroes Sports Trust is an umbrella charitable trust enabling LGBTI+ and LGBTI+ friendly people to come together to participate and enjoy sport in an open, safe and supportive environment with the mission of supporting LGBTI+ inclusive sports teams. They have a rugby union team, two touch teams (mixed team & men’s team) and have launched other sporting codes including swimming, running and waka ama.
If you are interested in joining any of the teams, or something different, please complete a signup form or the Get Involved form, they are always keen to welcome new people onboard. If you are part of an existing team and would be interested in partnering up with Christchurch Heroes, please complete the Affiliation form and they will contact you to discuss.
