Pride Whanganui alongside Ngā Tai o te Awa bring you a combined Pride + Hope Walk.
Pride Walk is a family friendly event for all to come together and support the Whanganui LGBTQIA+ community. This walk signifies a few things. We walk as a mark of respect for those who are no longer with us, we walk to support those who can’t walk with us and we walk as a quite literal forward stepping of the community and its presence in Whanganui.
Hope Walk is a Suicide Prevention Movement that creates change through action led for those who have been touched by suicide. Likeminded organisations and community groups come together to provide a platform for suicide prevention world-wide.
