Profile
As we take Pride back to its activist roots with the Pride March, we’re bringing everyone together to elevate important issues for our communities in our fight for progress – to create ripples of change across the motu.

The March will open from 2pm outside the Central City Library on Lorne Street. At 2:50pm we will have some brief speeches and following that we will March as a community down Queen Street, right through Tyler Street and into Takutai Square, Britomart.
This is a whānau and rangatahi friendly event so there will be no alcohol allowed at any time during the March. To ensure everyone’s safety there will be a team of volunteers as well as security to help anyone out if they need before, during, and after the march.
When we finish the March in Britomart there will be food trucks, a DJ and plenty of bean bags to sit down and connect as a community and celebrate
