Profile

The Rainbow Games 2024 is a premier multi-sports events celebrating diversity in sexual orientation, sex characteristics and gender identity. Our main goal is to provide a safe space for everyone to come together and play sports.

The Rainbow Games will follow a year of worldwide queer sporting events, Use these events as a training ground and get yourself to Aotearoa New Zealand in early 2024

The Games are scheduled for 4 – 8 April 2024, at Trusts Arena Auckland and surrounding venues. It’s pitched as a fully inclusive multi-sport tournament for LGBT+ and allies across 14 sporting disciplines. The goal is to provide a safe space for everyone to come together, play sports & compete!

The Games will follow a year of worldwide queer sporting events and is for everyone from seasoned athletes to beginners. Each sport will offer different grades & classifications to ensure everyone has a meaningful experience playing with a diverse range of participants from around the world – let the games begin!
Competitors and spectators can expect a glittering opening ceremony before six days of sporting action, accompanied by arts and culture activities across the week. See more at https://rainbowgames.co.nz/ and register now
