Ōtautahi, get excited! This is by far the most important & personal show I’ve written. It tells my story of growing up in the church and realising I’m gay at age 25. After my story ends, I talk about how there’s a lot of good going on for the LGBTQIA+ community, but still so far to go. In November 2022 we woke up to the news that some of our queer siblings had been shot at a gay nightclub in Colorado Springs with at least 25 injured & 5 dead. When will the bigotry and hate stop? Will it ever really go away?
